CTMedic , there are drugs approved without being placebo control studies first , not many but there are some ,
I actually believe that our S/C patients in COVID should be an open study , without placebo arm.
Look at our cancer studies, no placebo arm,
and look at GvHD study , when FDA first approved this protocol , it was with placebo control , but after couple of months FDA changed that to open study without placebo , with explanation that it would be to dangerous to patients..
All IMO.
