New here too, and to trading in general, and have all those same questions. I’ve only been following IPIX since feb/march but it seems like the runs sometimes come a day or two after good news.

I know what shorting is obviously, but don’t know much about how it works or how it can artificially hold a price down. Anyone care to take a minute to explain? And explain it like you would to your 8 year old

One more question, is it true that placing a limit order on shares prevents your broker from lending them? I’ve seen mixed reports. Thanks for any info
