I don’t doubt that there was some political pressure to give plasma therapy an EUA when considering that the FDA, just this last week, said it wanted more data before considering finally granting EUA. The timing of the announcement, the night before the RNC, confirms my suspicions.

What I don’t understand is how there hasn’t been publication of clear data showing the efficacy of plasma when there has been a reported 60,000 people who have reportedly received the treatment. Maybe the FDA received more data and it will be published with the EUA?
