I looked at the Cytodyn yahoo site and the posters there are all convinced the announcement this evening is for leronlimab, the Cytodyn drug that is in clinical trial. I also saw a link to a Forbes article published today that suggests the announcement is also leronlimab. From what I could find, it looks like they are awaiting details of the results from a Phase II for mild to moderate patients, but the safety data was reportedly decent. I can't find anything other therapeutics that might be on the docket like this, but who knows. I hope B gets mentioned, but either way, the announcement seems premature if they have not PRd the details of the results. If this drug works, more power to them since many lives can be saved and there would still be room for B to rise to the top.
