Great thought process Kgem. I don't think the vast majority of the 40 companies are all Doc's. I think most are partnerships with other entities which would complicate it far more than wholly owned companies by the Doc.
Bringing in his own companies simply enhances the value of his UNVC shares. Bringing in companies with outside owners would require a share trade for equity. He's Twitted several times that the share quantity isn't changing. If he decided to trade shares for equity, having shares at $1.00 or more would reduce the quantity required drastically so that makes more sense up front.
Your proposition of 3-4 entities into the existing company makes complete sense IMO. I believe partnering with companies that are separate but synergistic with UNVC is what he's trying to do.
