IMO its because the RSI is so low. Shorts want to hit when the share price is over inflated.
Imagine a coil spring from a car. When the stock is manipulated down, it is like someone standing on the spring. Its resisting and ready to spring back up.
When we ran to $10, it was akin to someone standing on the lowest ring of the spring, and pulling the top of the spring up. The tension in the spring wanted to go down. Thats when shorters can make the most money.
