At least they are paying lip service to the reality that "we are in a pandemic" and we are going to approve what is safe and effective. It gave me a lot of hope.
I more worry about the NIH. Did you see what they did to convalescent plasma today? I'm not sure what gives them the authority to intervene in the FDA's decisions, but apparently they can.
