Markets at a top?

The NASDAQ 100 is doing well, but that is only 100 stocks. I feel the S$P 500 and the Russel2000 tell a more accurate story

A lot of damage has been done to a lot of companies. For the S&P 500 to be at an all time high, smells. "October Surprise" the Democrats like to lie about things just before an election and legitimate bad news can certainly happen too. I would be a trader here, investing for dividends could kill you on stocks with a nice dividend. Puts for protection? Or get out? Gold? Crypto? Hey, I don't know,I am just scared. Any thoughts anybody?
