Historically , drug companies have always gone to Europe and other nations first with a drug to get approval because it is easier/faster. I hope because we are in a pandemic, The FDA moves quicker to approve the EUA but my experience when I worked in The Pharma biz was overseas had less red tape and a lower bar in general for approvals.
