severe trial update...not likely before October. Last week NP said enrollment was at 175, and 195 are needed before interim analysis. Maybe enrollment fills by the end of August; then, 28 treatment days before measuring outcome. That puts us at the end of September. Then 2 weeks to compile data (if anything like the m/m trial).

How many lives could be saved and how much suffering could be relieved by FDA granting EUA right now instead of waiting yet another two months? What's the harm in an EUA?

Lord, the FDA has failed on so many fronts in this pandemic; may they get it right just this once. Amen.
