In 1999, every internet stock was trading at multiples that were, to put it mildly, massively overinflated... When The Crash happened, however, EVERYTHING got dumped, indescriminately.. anyone who could "pick winners" and grab Yahoo Cisco or Amazon at phenomenal prices...
2009 financial crisis, there were PREFERRED SHARES in Citibank, JPMorgan, BoA selling for BELOW 1/10th of FACE! The yield for anyone who bought near the lows is borderline obscene.
This is even less drastic than either of those... This is at best a minor correction for Covid stocks, but it's affording the SAME OPPORTUNITY as the previous mentioned corrections.
