Re: Starboard18 #40096
Mary has said several times that she spoke with a Cogosense official and he verified a "business" relationship between ONCI and Cogosense. I believe Mary!! Who knows, maybe the person who posted on a Social Media site that there is/was no business relations between ONCI & Cogosense is/was a bitter person/employee. It is not unusual for bitter employees/people to lie or stretch the truth about their company. Or, maybe they just don't know what is currently active and/or being discussed.
It is not unusual for Senior Management to know something about their company that lower level employees don't have a clue about. I was involved in several M&A (merger & acquisition) meetings where the last item of business (at the mtg) was for the attorneys to get everyone in the room to sign various documents. NDAs are very common in business when new business is being discussed. Sometimes people in the meetings were told they couldn't buy/sell stock in a company being discussed for some period of time.
My reference to some wanting things both ways is if we have "no business dealings" with another company, why does it matter if that company's website is not working.
I would agree that businesses should have a website, but, that website must support the current business model. And, business models change all of the time. Maybe Cogosense business model is in a state of flux. MAYBE someone bought Cogosense.
