They can and do... Big Pharma accounts for an outsized portion of broadcast advertising, because the only demographic that still consumes television and radio are largely over 40 and the perfect market segment for BP wares. Nobody will want to step on their toes, by either being critical of a BP treatment or being supportive of a non-BP competitor.
