$INKW Jack Murgatroyd, Director at Hunt House Pictures states, "My work, was originally stemming from the surf world, and has focused mostly on stories of community, finding those things that connect us as people and bring us together. I have cut my teeth in the documentary world with my debut feature film, Dirty Old Wedge, collecting Best Documentary and Audience Awards at the Newport Beach Film Festival, International Surf Film Festival and the London Surf Film Festival while my second feature documentary, Part of Water, premiered at the closing night film at the 2019 Newport Beach Film Festival. My work seeks for a sense of authenticity while lending as much artistry to his stories as possible. My work is all about getting in the thick of it and pulling out the most powerful story I can find, making sure to have as much fun along the way as we can."
