These mabs would need to be better 'quarterbacks' than leronlimab in order to show efficacy (statistical significance).
I wonder how this works though....do you expose healthy people (in placebo and drug group) to SARS-COV-2? or do you tell them to do best practices (wear mask, social distance, small gatherings, etc.)? or something else?
And what about safety? Who wants to try an untested drug with potentially harmful side effects if you are perfectly healthy?
Sounds like a very difficult trial to enroll and you'll need a large population.
Plus there's leronlimab with an already proven good safety profile.
