Dear Ms. Johnston,
I have written to you before as I am alarmed that a columnist for STAT News has been trying to manipulate the share price of a small biotech, Cytodyn Inc, through writing completely distorted and untrue "hit pieces" in STAT.
I learned over the weekend that he has been harassing a friend of a cancer patient, Holly Kennedy. Holly is a young Irish woman with advanced breast cancer who traveled to San Francisco to participate in a study of leronlimab for triple negative breast cancer. Apparently, he wrote to her friend, Olive, who has a gofundme campaign for Holly, seeking dirt on Cytodyn and trying to dissuade Holly from continuing the trial. He is not only trying to seed doubt in the company on twitter and STAT, but he is actually trying to frighten a very ill woman and her friend.
I cried when I read about this because I lost a very close friend to breast cancer and I know how painful the whole thing is. It's despicable that he attempted to toy with the emotions of these women so he can manipulate the share price. Please do something!
