I've been seeing posts recently saying that Leronlimab/PRO 140 can cross the Blood Brain Barrier. I'm fairly certain that this is an inaccurate statement.
Only molecules that have a molecular weight smaller than 500 Daltons can reliably get through the Blood Brain Barrier (BBB). The molecular weight of Leronlimab/PRO 140 is approximately 150,000 Daltons. A molecule of water is 18 Daltons.
Comparatively, Leronlimab is 300x too large to cross the BBB.
I think what happens is Leronlimab will do its magic outside the brain and reduce the "bad" cells that are actually able to cross the BBB.
NOTE: Definition of "Dalton"
