I want to agree with you. I really do. But somehow I keep having this vision in my mind of Lucy (the FDA) swiping the ball away from Charlie Brown (CYDY) just as he's about to kick it.
They knew leronlimab was safe and effective for HIV a couple years ago. And yet here we are, still the bridesmaid.
I understand the general philosophy that if the FDA moves the yardstick for one company during the approval process, it becomes a slippery slope. Other drugs, however, don't typically have a 1,000+ patient pool demonstrating safety and efficiency.
I am cautiously optimistic. I wonder if we'll at least get a bump in the interim period between announcement of the topline results and the FDA ruling.
