Nice to have political influence. Biogen managed to get priority review status from the FDA -- FOR FREE, not using a priority review voucher -- even though one of their 2 Phase 3 clinical trials flunked, and scientists are saying that there is little or no benefit to their amyloid-theory BS drug.
