I agree it is hard to misstate that. Reduction in SAEs did not seem that complex and that complex and yet most of us had to read it at least twice to make sense.
The PRs are also an opportunity to put out positive spin, so does not hurt to emphasize that the hurdle overcome was not trivial.
We are dying to numbers from CD10, so a lot better to PR this way.
I was deathly afraid they were going to say to effect of “Data from DSMC insufficient to stop trial, so now we have to continue for many more months”.
