The logic is that if they observed more people dying in the drug group than placebo, then they would recommend a stop or modification to the test. I guess it was too much for us to think the opposite would apply; that if a lot of people on leronlimab did better than placebo, then the committee would make similar recommendations in favor of leronlimab.
