The technology appears to be similar (not an expert).
The biggest difference is that Sona is laser focused on Gold Nanoparticles for biomed and testing applications. The funding they received ($4million) that drove stock for .06 to 11.00 is for rapid response testing using the Gold Nanoparticles it is developing.
QMC supports a broader range of applications... Sona has announced the funding for a program in a very hot space.
