I am not familiar with the timing and extent of modifications that have been made to the severe/critical trial enrollment.
Yesterday's Data Monitoring Committee meeting, if it took place, was not directed towards enrollment.
The DMC meeting is primarily a check on the drug safety but the DMC must also recommend to either stop or continue the trial. Stop can be for efficacy or futility. Continue says the trial should be completed so the result can be obtained.
