So the point of any trial is to isolate the effect of the drug being tried. All patients get the SOC as others have said. The ones that don’t get Lero are the placebo (SOC only). The ones who get Lero AND SOC are allowing us to make a relative comparison to the effect of Lero. This is the point of trials to prove efficacy.
