According to the clinical trials website dealing with our severe critical trial the patients are allowed to continue whatever treatment they have been on while participating with Leronlimab or placebo. The drugs are listed including convalescent plasma, rem, hydroxyl and several others. So the placebo group is not really a placebo group, am I right? While I understand you have to provide standard of care, how can this not mess with our results and why were these other drugs allowed in our trial? I saw this on yahoo board last night and couldn’t believe it Nobody seems concerned about it though which is surprising. I guess I assumed we were competing with placebo but that’s not what it says in the trial information. I wish I knew how to post the link but it’s easy to find. Someone please explain this. Thanks!
