yes i have......I was a kid in the 60's but I remember my parents railing against the hippie's calling them Beatniks etc.
I remember in the late 60's my friends with older brothers that were getting drafted. One of them, the "cool" kid on the block, I remember he was working on his car in their driveway when he got drafted. I remember his dad telling him
the car would be waiting for him when he got back.....he never returned. KIA
