Lenzilumab blocks GM-CSF, stopping creation of new macrophages, eosinophils and basophils, which in an already over stimulated/dysregulated immune response is injurious.

Leronlimab blocks trafficking of inflammatory white blood cells to areas of inflammation, restores some of these same cells to a normal infection fighting, rather than inflammatory state, and restores ability of immune system to fight the virus.

Lenzilumab can mitigate the cytokine storm, but pales in comparison to leronlimab.
