Correct- no need to live in the past. However, we use historic information to inform our current decisions. If I lend my friend $100 every month (for the past 3 years!) and he never pays me back, should I lend him $100 this month because he tells me he’ll pay me back this? Of course not. Unless he REALLY needs it, or I have a reason to believe he’ll pay me back this time.
There’s nothing new in the tweets- no reason to believe any revenue will be generated. It’s the same recycled content.
I’m with you- live in the moment..... but don’t disregard the past as it is important in setting the context for your current behavior.
