The Leander gets 10% to wait and is virtually guaranteed to get money back in 2 years since all assets are (except intellectual property) back the note
I think that the lender has a ton of confidence in the company.
They could have bought 28 million in the 5 to 6 dollar range over the last few days.
That want the security of the 10 percent interest and are willing to give up about 100 percent stock appreciation from here to $10.
We also don’t yet know if there was a loan origination type fee but I am guessing there is one.
