Dave, with your help I found where Dr. Patterson talks about how GM-CNF is only elevated in 20-30% of patients (which is the quote). It is at the 53:00 minute mark of the Dr. Been/Dr. Patterson interview you specified.
So if anyone is looking for THE INFORMED opinion about why Leron is a more likely candidate than Lenzi, there it is:
"Maybe 20-30% [of the severe patients] have elevatd GM-CNF. So I don't know if THAT is the ultimate target, but I think that there HAS been this consistent level of RANTES." -- Dr. Bruce Patterson
