This argument breaks down when the product at hand does not need to be "sold."

Have you ever met an electricity salesman? How about a saleswoman in an Emergency room? Oxygen salesman? Water?

Salesmanship is only needed when you either need to increase awareness of the need for a product, or beat out another product for which there is an established market.

At present, neither of those are applicable to Leronlimab. Everyone is aware of the need, and there are 0 effective treatments approved.
