I agree 100%. The best time to be updated is when deals are finalized and filings are already submitted. No "we anticipate" this or that. It was most gracious of them to do that for investors, but unfortunately, greedy flippers (which includes shorters) don't care what harm they do to a company or it's investors. As a result, it's best to keep ALL guessing as to the ETA for major material announcements. Like you said, crank up their risk. No sense making it easy!
