Shares of Verb Technology Co. ( VERB), a sales technology company that has emphasized video-based products during the coronavirus pandemic, recently traded up 42% to $1.72.
Volume was 12.9 million shares, compared with a 65-day average of 164,662. Earlier Tuesday, shares were briefly paused due to volatility.
Last week, Verb said it expected to post a "record" second-quarter performance.
