As NP relayed that Dr. Kelly explained to him, (and I wish he could have said in the PR, but that's ok), generally parallel SAE to placebo is considered just fine. But if a drug displays *more safety than water*, NO relevant SAEs while placebo had some, it's essentially proof of efficacy in itself.
