That is an easy question to answer:
Because M-M is P2 and S-C is P3.
If one reinforces the other (both positive results) we will get emergency for M-M not a subsequent P3.
Also, for S-C will mean more likely approval after the interim.
In lay terms: both trials will re-enforce each other.
