Maybe there is something to a short attack but honestly I think the data is not as good as the optimism build up. We hear beautiful, strong results. Apparently (I did not witness) OAN had someone on saying game changing results so many were probably expecting efficacy results and numbers that just blew the doors of like some kind of miracle drug.
Safety from lack of SAEs caused by leronlimab was pretty much known because of HIV. The data suggests with SAEs not linked to leronlimab that there may have been people that progressed to severe from MM even on leronlimab. I don't know that for a fact because I don't know what the reported SAEs were from people who got the drug. The one death could have been a car accident, we just don't know full details. So I think we got a PR with some numbers but it does not yet contain the true information we were hoping to see and that's efficacy. Any report on SAEs is pure speculation because no one knows what they were except it was stated they were not caused by leronlimab.
Guessing the PR was a rush job to get us something and with expectations at an all time high, they weren't met. I personally think NP, Dr BP, and Dr Jay would call these results very good. I think day traders and regular investors searching for the big miracle drug were not blown away and they move on just like they do with the moderna, novavax, Astra zenecas...who's the latest vaccine in the headlines??? That's the next run up.
