The findings appear promising but the full data needs to be published, to include more in depth data on the patients who were given the drug, safety, etc. This was a blinded, placebo controlled trial and the company appears to have the full data, but it hasn’t been released yet.

The results from this trial on interferon and how the results are treated in the medical/scientific community may be an indicator of how the results from the M2M trial will be treated. Very similar trial size and endpoints.
