Excellent video compilation on the A330 MRTT - the aircraft the USAF should have started buying 12 years ago.
Note how good the Rear Vision System is - the item that will be problematical on the KC-46A for at least another 3 > 5 years.
It is highly possible that a significant element of the USAF total tanker requirement in future may be performed by contractor owned aircraft - depending on the study currently being carried out under the direction of the Secretary of the Air Force.
The A330 MRTT is the only "new build" aircraft like to be considered by any large company bidding to provide a 20 > 100+ aircraft fleet - with a lead time of several years which would leave a window of opportunity for small companies like Omega and $TMPS who own handfuls of legacy aircraft with life left on them to provide a limited capability.
