I cannot imagine EUA being denied if the results are strong or overwhelming.
It certainly feels like the EUA process is very political (cough, cough, Gilead), but if the results are as strong as many suspect it would be simultaneously inhumane not to grant EUA and politically suicidal.
The world needs effective treatment and every incumbent government needs solutions to the challenges of Covid.
