The consensus (my read of the group reactions) is that the trial data were positive, apparently to a degree that results were obvious without delving into deep statistical analysis.

Of course, that analysis needs to occur before official statements, oral or written, are made about the trial results.

I find little other reasonable explantation for the jubilation that Dr. Pourhassan was doing a really poor job of containing in his late Friday Proactive interview.
