I have been asked by others as to whether I know IPIX/Brilacidin was on the agenda today and of course I said no.
I then gave my reasoning as to why I feel it was on the agenda to include the makeup of the panel, the strength of the data and the fact that it was derived from the INH's own RBLs, the PAN-CORONA request showing a far greater potential use for B than just CV19, the 3-in-1 and immunomodulatory properties, multiple MOAs to kill/stop replication of the virus, etc.
IMO it is like a sports team evaluating draft choices - they start with the #1 pick and work down and from what we have seen to date, Brilacidin dwarfs all other drugs that have been trotted out as possible answers to the CV19 problem.
I also said if it wasn't on the agenda and this is the agency that IPIX/RBL submitted their request, that someone should be brought up on criminal charges for derilection of duty.
