As much as RSI is used by pump and dump traders, it is also important to realize all indicators are generally not to useful for stocks like this. This stock has had this volume and price fluctuations for 3-4 months, before that it was a sleepy $.60 stock that had 1/10 the volume. Any indicator that takes in longer data that includes both these “eras” is really flawed and not useful. Indicators for the most part are calculations based on comparison to rate of change so it is good for established stocks but with stocks that are drastically different due to fundamentals, technicals really don’t reflect much.
