This is not specifically for you "Surfsup", but for questions of this type all too frequently asked in frustration on this board. Of course we'd all like to know ahead of time exactly when important milestones will be reached. But ask yourself, when you finally decide to, say, clean out the garage, if your wife asks you what exact day and time will you be done with it? Do you have a good answer for that. I know I don't. Things always take longer than I think they will initially. And my life is pretty simple.
Cytodyn is working on so many things right now and the progress on any one of them is not under their control: hospitals have to collate and send them data, as we saw today, the FDA can throw them a curve or ask for data from Samsung or American Regent, Dr. Patterson or others may take more time to finish an analysis than expected, etc., etc.
Dr. Pourhassan gets skewered on message boards when he gives an expected date and doesn't meet it. But some posters are always asking him to put himself in that position again. He's been telling us results from Covid trials in July for quite a while. He reiterated that today and pinned it down further. But if it takes a bit longer, could we all cut him and Cytodyn some slack? They're doing a lot more than cleaning out the garage. They're trying to save thousands of lives and having to jump over a lot of obstacles to do it. Some patience and perspective are called for imho.
