Idk the system at OTC Markets, but it would seem to me that a glitch of this nature would be highly improbable. We are still dealing with the stock market, which is overseen by the SEC. People make financial decisions based on what information OTC Markets shows. So OTCM has a responsibility to make sure the information is accurate, or the investor has recourse with the SEC.
In a situation where the T/A has disassociated itself with the company (for whatever reason), I could see the verified shield being erroneously displayed for a time afterwards....but to have the verification suddenly go current, seems like it would have to be initiated for a valid reason.
