I don’t disagree with your assessment. I respect your years of experience, and it’s comforting to hear such perspectives.
Science is the main driver, and it’s what any longer relies upon. That, however, doesn’t take the responsibility off NP. If science never fails us and good results keep coming, then it’s indeed a matter of time before we all see significant profits. Where NP comes into play, though, is how much time it’s gonna get us to get there. If there are inconsistencies, miscalculations, and not excellent planning, good PR etc, then lots of patience will be required cause for every mistake leadership makes, the shorts, along with the other forces you named, will be surely keeping us down.
I wish he’d be more measured; thoughtful. More walking the walk, less talking the talk. He mentioned the other day on the YouTube interview that he sees Cytodyn market cap belonging in the hundreds of billions. Come on man...lay low. Preserve the fighting spirit, which is needed given the competition and negative predisposition of key players, but lay low, play smart. Don’t tell us we’re publishing on the most prestigious journal ever, and even name the journal. 101 mistakes IMO.
He’s humble and that’s good, but it’s not enough. IMO he needs to be much more humble that what he is. This is a guy who sits on possibly the hottest antibody right now in the market. Credit goes 100% to him for finding this opportunity (to lead this company) and getting in. However, he knows very little about science, little about the industry in general (he’s been picking it up as he goes, he mentioned this in his YouTube interview but it’s also apparent). Nor is he business savvy. He openly criticized the bankers for not supporting him. Why do that? Why oppose?! We understand that we’re not being helped by major institutions, do you think it’s smart to openly talk about this? It aggravates the situation. It creates more negativity. Unnecessarily IMO. What is he trying to do? Win the masses? That’s not how we’ll get to 150b market cap.
I don’t want to upset other investors, this is not why I’m writing these. I’m a very open minded person, very receptive to criticism, open to dialogue. I don’t intend on selling. But I have higher expectations of NP.
