If I said Nature I apologize. The issue was NEJM. First, let's note that a paper can be submitted to only one journal at a time. NEJM was the first journal approached by Patterson et al. NP informed us of this soon after, stating in fact that it would be "published next week." As soon as this public disclosure was made, NEJM was bound to return the submission.

The only thing I've heard about Nature is when it was mentioned by Dr. Yo on his YouTube episodes.
