NP gave a nice presentation of HIV results, said he didn't know m/m results but should have news by the end of next week or the start of the following week, interim results for s/c at 50% enrollment (currently at 131/390 but waiting until 195/390) rather than 50 patients, might ask DSMB for evaluation of fatalities in s/c soon, expect PDUFA date tomorrow.
Then, the WS Reporter guy mumbled and slurred his way through a few questions with his microphone too far from his mouth, mangled several pronunciations, and asked repetitive questions with no understanding of what he was asking. NP was visibly irritated with the guy and wanted to end it early. Scott Kelly answered some technical questions in a lucid and confident way...no dumbing down, no obfuscation. But I remember very little of the Q&A because the interviewer was so distracting and the questions were 95% rehashing of info that everyone who's been paying any attention in the past few weeks already knew the answers to.
