Watching the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic in Mexico, with the death rate among confirmed cases something along the lines of 11-12%, the Leronlimab phase 3 trial with the Mexico NIH would be a godsend for that country if approvals come out of the results. The high death rate indicates both a severe underreporting of actual case numbers, and an even worse commentary on healthcare in Mexico. Leronlimab may be Mexico's only hope short of a vaccine, which is still a long way off.
