We really don’t have an idea on how many doses are needed. The pandemic rages on. Numbers increase daily. There is hope that Leronlimab can keep people from needing the hospital at all for mild to moderate indications of COVID-19.
The severe critical will be a large share also.
Here is a thought... what if everyone that has lingering effects needs Leronlimab? Or maybe everyone that ever had COVID-19? Not likely to be for everyone but we don’t know what is the future of COVID-19. Could be that it lays dormant in our immune systems and comes back With vengeance and attack a organ or two before you even know what’s happening. Why are some people almost without symptoms and others have such a hard time!
There was mention of a study to post COVID-19 people with lingering effects to see If a treatment of Leronlimab will stop the lingering. So can we ever put a number on how many doses will be needed? Maybe it will be in the billions if it becomes a virus like HIV that hides and comes back to get you later. We don’t know this yet but anything is possible. That’s one reason I am diligent in wearing a mask always. Until we know the after effects of this drug 2 or 3 years from now. I would suggest not testing your super immune response you believe you might have. Mask up and be smart about it is what I believe.
