Perhaps I am oversimplifying the situation, but I don't see a problem in synchronizing the two sets of data: let's say that on July 10, NP determines that the m to m data can be released to the world on July 15. So on July 10, NP determines to do an interim patient cut-off in the severe trial as of June 10 (whatever number of patients that may be), and to release that data to the world on July 15 too (assuming that data can be assembled in just 5 days).
